A Genuine Rudraksha Bead of good quality has a very long life and it can be passed on from generation to generations if maintained properly. This is a Natural Bead and therefore its proper care and maintenance is required.
The Rudraksha beads may be cleaned periodically after a period of one month or when you feel that they need to be cleaned. For this, the beads should be dipped in Luke warm soapy water taken in the copper vessel provided with the kit and soaked for a few hours after which they can be cleaned with the help of small brush of the kit.
Thereafter, the bead should be kept on a soft absorbent cloth and dried in shade for 4-5 hours. Once the beads have dried up then you may apply small quantity of Sandal Oil with the help of a small brush. To energise the bead hold it for few seconds over the Incense sticks fumes.
