Vetiver is a tall, dense, wild grass with long narrow leaves and a strand of underground white, yellow, and brown roots. Vetiver is native to tropical Asia and also introduced to the rest of the worlds. Vetiver has been used in many different cultures for many different reasons from its healing abilities to ceremonies. Vetiver Essential oil is extracted by steam distillation from its roots. The odor of Vetiver oil is described as deep, sweet, woody, smoky, earthy, amber, balsam.
